On Wednesday I received my first fabric order from the US (unfortunately not the on from last weekend, so I still can't continue with the Sentimental Journey Sampler). And in the afternoon our new digital camera was delivered. Our old one was seven or eight years old by now, still working fine but the picture quality was not so good anymore compared to what is available today. And since we will go on another big trip to the US this summer we decided to get a new one. Nice toy, and much better picture quality.

My fabrics went through customs at still another German customs office... I decided not to wonder about that anymore. It took them 3 1/2 weeks to get here, that is short compared to the last delivery and fine with me. I mainly orderd fabric for the borders and binding of the Sentimental Journey Sampler.

This was not enough to fill the Global Priority Envelope and to justify the shipping costs, so I browsed the sale section and ordered more fabrics that can be used for preterm baby quilts. That was before Thea gave me all those fabrics she wanted to donate, but fortunately fabrics don't have an expiration date.
