Am letzten Wochenende - und ich meine nicht gestern, ich hinke immer noch hinterher - fand die jährliche Quilt Show in Chilliwack statt. Es gibt hier zwei Gilden, und sie wechseln sich ab bei der Organisation. Dieses Jahr war die Chilliwack Piecemakers Guild an der Reihe. Ich bin mit einer Freundin hingegangen (die, für die ich den Babyquilt gemacht habe), sie will jetzt nämlich lernen, wie man quiltet, und ich dachte, das wäre dann eine gute Inspiration. Wir hatten viel Spaß, und sie ist jetzt so voller Ideen, dass sie gleich drei Quilts machen will... und alle noch vor Weihnachten :O Na, wir werden sehen, ob das klappt...
Last weekend - and I don't mean yesterday, I am still way behind in posting - it was time for the annual quilt show in Chilliwack. There are two guilds here, and they are taking turns in organizing the show. This year it was the Chilliwack Piecemakers Guild's show. I went with a friend (the one I made the crib quilt for), she wants to learn how to quilt now, and I thought it would be a great inspiration for her. We had a lot of fun, and now she has so many ideas that she wants to make three quilts... all before Christmas :O We will see how that works out...
