Dessert Time oder was daraus geworden ist

Last week, when I wrote about having no UFOs I remembered that I started making a quilt using precuts of the "Fresh Cut" line and the Eleanor Burns's pattern Dessert Time last year. I lost interest quickly as I found it rather boring to work with a whole line of matching fabrics, and the blocks are way too big for my taste too. But it is true, I usually don't have UFOs, either I finish them or I throw them out/give them away. So I dug out the top or at least what I have so far. It doesn't look like the original design anymore. The reason? The Fresh Cut Line has pretty much all directional fabrics, and I couldn't stand it that when I followed the original design, half of the fabrics would be upside down... yes, I know I am quite obsessive :) So I arranged the blocks forming colour coordinated diagonal lines. Now I have to get out the Jelly Roll and add the borders. But I can see that quilting this will be fun, lots of space to fill with designs.
